International Workshop and Erasmus+ Meeting at Arbeit und Leben Hamburg
From 12th until 13th November 2015 more than 50 movers and shakers from all over Europe and Hamburg came together to discuss mobility projects and to plan future cooperation. The German National Agency of Erasmus+ took part as well. It was a great melting pot of people who organize internships in the UK, Ireland, Poland, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Greece, Lithuania and various other countries.
Morag, our Scottish intermediate partner from “Light on the path” was very much satisfied:
“Many thanks to you and your colleagues for organising such a useful event. There were a great mix of partners in attendance. It was fantastic seeing old friends and forging new relationships with such excellent partners and of course trying out new delicacies. If there are any partners who would like to discuss partnering with us in Scotland then please do get in touch.”
During the two days many themes were discussed. One focus was the funding and implementation of VET staff visits within Europe. The program Erasmus+ enables not only learners but also staff from companies and colleges to meet colleagues, learn about new technologies and training methods and improve foreign language skills. The guests also worked on issues such as quality standards and strategies to involve companies into the field of mobility – making mobility even more a reality in the future.
